Auditors Office - Election Administration

• Serves as the Chief Election Office for the county
• Maintains Statewide Voter Registration System data base for Pennington County
• Voter Registration Cards – Please print and mail to Pennington County Auditors Office
• Absentee Ballot Application – Please print and mail to Pennington County Auditors Office
• Maintain precinct ranges - Precinct Finder (where do I vote)
• Trains all election judges
• Handles the filing for County offices
• Responsible for the preparation of ballots
• Conducts public accuracy tests on the election equipment
• Tabulates election results and responsible to report to Secretary of State
• Conducts canvassing board
