Programs Available
- Medical Assistance (MA): Nationally called Medicaid, this program pays for necessary medical care for low-income families, children, pregnant women, people over 65 and people with disabilities.
- General Assistance Medical Care (GAMC): Pays for medical care for low-income Minnesotans who do not qualify for Medicaid or other state or federal health care programs - primarily low income adults between the ages of 21 and 64 who do not have dependent children.
- MinnesotaCare(MNCare): This is a premium-based coverage for uninsured who meet income and asset tests.
