WHAT WE DO

Extension takes the latest research from the University of Minnesota into people’s lives - where they live, work and play. Programming supported by Pennington county involves 4-H youth development.

4-H YOUTH DEVELOPMENT - LEARN BY DOING

Minnesota 4-H provides opportunities for kids to demonstrate leadership that benefits their communities and reflects the principles of democracy. Youth have fun while they learn, grow, and reach their full potential.

  • 4-H Clubs: Join and participate! We offer Community Clubs, Project Clubs, Afterschool Clubs, and Site-based Clubs.
  • 4-H Adventures: Mini-blasts of fun. Try something new in a few hours, an afternoon or a day.
  • County and State Fairs: showcase skills and accomplishments of MN youth

BUSINESS HOURS

The County Extension Office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm.
